This report presents 20 indicators identified by the state to help chart the overall condition of agriculture as it relates to farmland preservation. The indicators are categorized to address several policy goal areas:

• Making agriculture a priority;
• Regulatory barriers;
• Resource availability and access;
• Strengthening competitiveness; and
• Emerging opportunities.
