This discussion focused on DC's Inclusionary Zoning (IZ) Program, led by the District Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). The discussion covered the background and history of IZ in DC and the current status and program projections. It also looked at where the program is headed, including proposed and upcoming changes to IZ. Other DHCD programs were also  addressed.

Gene Bulmash

Gene M. Bulmash is the inclusionary zoning program manager at the DC Department of Housing and Community Development. After practicing law for over 20 years in a variety of cities, Bulmash now focuses on working to preserve and increase affordable housing in Washington, D.C. He worked for and ran his own small law firm and worked for small and large international firms. Besides work, Bulmash enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and their dog in NW DC.
