FNI is a privately owned planning, engineering, and consulting firm serving clients across the Southwest and Southeast United States. Founded in 1894, we offer stability as a long-term trusted advisor and use our national expertise to meet contemporary challenges. Planning services we provide include comprehensive plans, downtown plans, transportation plans, corridor studies, land use studies, campus master plans, ordinance development, strategic planning, economic development, urban design, hazard mitigation and resilience, implementation plans, and on-call services/ development administration.
Our award-winning planning team has led more than 200 planning initiatives for cities large and small. We have seen several of our long-term clients grow from populations of less than 5,000 to more than 10 times that size — all strengthened and supported by our sound planning guidance.
