MORE SESSION DETAILS
Over the last 15 years, the mid-size community of Livermore has revitalized its historic downtown. Guided by the Downtown Specific Plan, the community has completed dozens of public and private projects to re-energize the community’s commercial core.
Participants see how the combination of mixed use buildings, entertainment uses, affordable and market rate housing, historical building reuse, enhanced streetscapes, open space and public art create a memorable and active town center. Participants will also learn about innovative community outreach tools, establishing public-private partnerships, future projects and lessons learned. Wine tasting featuring South Livermore Valley wines and lunch are included.
