MORE SESSION DETAILS

During Prohibition, District Attorney Earl Warren called Emeryville, California, “the rottenest city on the Pacific Coast”. He wouldn’t recognize it today! Through foresight and good planning, Emeryville has become a vibrant hub of art and innovation in the heart of the Bay Area. Home of numerous cutting edge companies including Pixar, Novartis, and the Joint BioEnergy Institute, Emeryville packs 20,000 workers and 12,000 residents into only 1.2 square miles. With the city's many art studios and production facilities, it’s no wonder that the California Arts Council designated Emeryville one of only 14 initial State Cultural Districts. Witness this amazing transformation!
