San Francisco International Airport is rebuilding its shoreline protection system. Learn about the measures the airport is taking to mitigate flooding and sea level rise, including the permitting and review process and construction plans. Planners from the airport's environmental and airport planning teams lead the discussions on the work involved in keeping the airport’s assets from flooding. Afterward, airport staff lead a guided tour of the airfield, including airside and taxiway access, for a better understanding of the airport’s shoreline and ongoing projects. Government-issued ID is needed.
