MORE SESSION DETAILS

The Lafitte Greenway is a 2.6-mile bicycle and pedestrian trail connecting historic New Orleans neighborhoods from the French Quarter to City Park. Originally a canal and later a railroad corridor, this stretch of land in the heart of the city has played a critical role in New Orleans’s transportation and water management infrastructure for more than 200 years. Walk the greenway and explore its role in New Orleans’s growing bicycle network, its stormwater management system, and the impact that it has had on surrounding development. Tour includes happy hour.
