Solar Energy

The town's Master Plan addresses solar as a sustainability strategy in its Natural and Cultural Resources chapter as well as its Services and Facilities chapter. The Natural and Cultural Resources chapter mentions solar in its sustainability strategies, such as creating zoning regulations and local tax incentives to encourage or mandate green elements, including renewable energy use (Strategy NC.4.B). The Services and Facilities chapter includes a strategy encouraging financial incentives and partnerships for solar energy use (Strategy S.6.B).
