How do I get to my CM Log to check my reporting period status?

You must have an active APA and AICP membership status to access your CM log.

Do I need to be an AICP member to access a CM Log?

You must be AICP member to have an assigned CM log. CM is not required for non-AICP APA members.

After passing the Exam, when can I start logging CM Credits?

Once your AICP credential has been activated, you will be provided a CM Log and can log any eligible credits from that date forward.

How can I log CM credits for my next reporting period?

You will be given the option to Review and Close your current reporting period to open the next reporting period.

Where can I find on-demand options for CM credit?

You can use the filter option on the CM Search to search for on-demand activities and click here for APA National options.

How do I claim CM credit for an activity that I do not see is listed?

If the planning-related activity is not listed by a CM provider or the activity was offered by a non-CM provider, you may self-report.

How many self-report CM credits are available each two-year reporting period?

You may claim up to 8 CM credits (8 hours of training) from planning-related activities that are not registered by a CM provider.

Can I claim CM credit for mentoring?

Yes, mentoring the development of students, interns, beginning professionals, colleagues, and members of underrepresented groups to help them advance in the planning profession is eligible to claim CM credit.
