Grayfields Reuse and Redevelopment

The township’s land development code lays out a planned business center district that is intended to encourage redevelopment of underutilized shopping centers into a large-scale regional center. It prohibits industrial uses, public garages and gas stations. The regulations include area and bulk requirements. Sidewalks along storefronts must be at least 10 feet wide. Buildings must be set back 150 feet from the nearby state route, and 50 feet from any other property line or any other building on the same lot. Max FAR is .25 (§15-28).
