Benefits of Compact, Mixed Use Development

This literature review attempts to understand the general takeaways of existing research on the costs of sprawl. It categorizes different research and synthesizes and summarizes the resulting collections. The research is broken into the following categories: Public-Private Capital and Operating Costs, Transportation and Travel Costs, Land/Natural Habitat Preservation, Quality of Life, and Social Issues.
