Benefits of Compact, Mixed Use Development

This report is a literature review of the economic impacts of different aspects of urban form. It is split into five sections: land use regulation and property values, fiscal impacts, economic prosperity, developers' profits, and sustainability. According to the research, each of these aspects benefits from characteristics of compact development such as density and economies of scale.
