The city’s land development code aims to preserve and enhance scenic quality along scenic roads (§30-6-9.9). It requires a scenic corridor assessment for proposed scenic corridor overlay districts, which includes information on land use, unique qualities, information on the value of the corridor to residents, transportation, and a review of standards of underlying zoning districts (§30-4-8.6). Additionally, it provides information on established scenic corridor overlay districts (§30-7-8.10).
