Active Transportation

The guides assembled in the “Bicycle Parking: Bicycle Parking, Storage and Changing Facilities”(2015) entry of the TDM Encyclopedia include both illustrated examples of facilities and tables of recommend bicycle parking requirements, as well as links to additional resources and programs across both Canada and the United States.

Shared Mobility

This clearinghouse, developed by the Victoria Transport Policy Institute, provides information on transportation demand management (TDM) to help increase understanding and implementation of this practice. It includes strategies and resources to improve transportation options, incentivize the use of alternative transportation modes, land use management, and TDM policies and programs. The strategies contain the possible impacts, benefits and challenges, best practices, and case studies.
