Agritourism | Food Systems

This report, submitted by the University at Buffalo Regional Institute to the Southtowns Community Enhancement Coalition, represents the first step of a broader agribusiness development initiative. Forty-five farms across this four-town area were surveyed to collect information on the visitor services offered, farms’ interest in expanding or developing new agribusinesses, and the business and tourism capacity of farms. The report presents survey findings and outlines recommendations for strategic expansion of the area’s agritourism market.
