Agritourism | Food Systems

The township’s zoning ordinance addresses agritourism. The ordinance defines “agritourism business” (§201.202). Agritourism businesses are special exception uses in the rural agricultural district, subject to standards (§201.304.C.16). Standards address rental of sleeping rooms, sleeping tents, markets, food retail, and events; development standards address setbacks, parking, signage, accessory buildings, refuse, nuisances, hours of operation, and use applications.
