Home Occupations

The city’s zoning bylaw permits home occupations by right, subject to use-specific standards. Home occupations must comply with employee, storage and display, location and space, nuisance, parking, sign, dwelling modification, delivery, hours of operation, and customer/client visit standards (§5.1.2001.304).

The city prohibits motor vehicle-related home-based businesses (§5.1.2001.304.g). It designates other prohibited uses in the definitions section (§5.1.2001.4).
