Home Occupations

The city’s unified development ordinance permits home occupations by right, subject to use-specific standards.

Home occupations must comply with location and space, dwelling modification, nuisance, display and sale, sign, employee, equipment, and traffic standards (§§21-211.b & 21-81).

The code includes the basic regulations in the residential zoning section (§21-81), and a more descriptive interpretation of the regulations in the “development design and improvement standards” section (§21-211).
