Form-Based Zoning
These statutes describe what happens after the adoption of an ordinance and preempts municipalities in the state of Indiana to allow for the adoption of form-based codes. (§36-7-4-610(h)(2)) explicitly permits form-based codes
Planning and Zoning Enabling Laws
Indiana authorizes all counties, cities, and towns to prepare comprehensive plans. And it authorizes all counties, cities, and towns to adopt zoning regulations.
