Creative Placemaking

This report focuses on how creative placemaking can help communities address environmental challenges. Arts and culture strategies can create opportunities for residents to identify with environmental issues, build community capacity, build relationships with neighbors, connect local challenges with larger contexts, and encourage local economies to become more sustainable. Case studies highlight creative placemaking projects focused on a variety of environmental issues, including energy, land, water, and pollution.
