This guide aims to help community-member staffed environmental committees in Minnesota advance sustainability goals. It explains the role of environmental advisory groups, highlights climate actions communities in Minnesota have taken already, and summarizes a wide range of sustainability issues for participants to consider as they review development proposals. It concludes with two short case studies to illustrate how and why the work of these committees is important.
