Comprehensive Planning

The city’s comprehensive plan, initially adopted in October 2021, includes 3 chapters:
-    Community Vision
-    Community Development
-    Community Implementation
Each chapter presents policy recommendations in the form of nested goals, policies, and actions. The plan uses a Summit Series to identify priorities for the scope, direction, and focus of what local residents, stakeholders, and leaders have in mind. One of these identified areas is that of managed growth, to balance efficient and flexible development patterns.
