Wildland-Urban Interface

This article discusses how cities and communities can better prevent and mitigate wildfire risk with land use planning tools such as community plans, regulations, and incentive-based programs. The author also highlights how the Community Planning Assistance for Wildfire (CPAW) program can provide resources to communities that need land use assistance.
