Wildland-Urban Interface

This article discusses how many of the worlds but environmental disasters disproportionately impact those of marginalized or minority populations, however in the United States that opposite seems to be happening with Wildland-Urban Interface disasters. The authors discuss how even though a majority of the population living in WUI areas are more socioeconomically secure, there are still 12 million people still socially vulnerable.
