Wildland-Urban Interface

This article analyzes how land-use patterns have an effect on both the spatial environment and the biodiversity in the region and how these both equate to the Wildland-Urban Interface. The need for ecological land-use planning is laid out with an emphasis put on California with the highest number of housing units in the WUI.
