Wildland-Urban Interface

This case study seeks to analyze the built environment of Colorado Springs, Eagle County, Ouray County, Colorado after the 2021 Marshall Fire burned through Colorado communities. This case study looks to analyze implemented fire resistant building regulations, and the creation of a statewide wildfire building and land use standard.
