Wildland-Urban Interface

This is a model WUI code that addresses minimum safety guidelines for new and existing buildings, facilities, storage, and processes in Michigan local governments. This code aims to establish minimum standards regarding regulating property access, landscaping, building materials, and education for property owners. It is intended to be adopted and used supplemental to the adopted building and fire codes of a jurisdiction.
