Wildland-Urban Interface

This report is designed to analyze planners and developers land use practices in wildland-urban interfaces to better understand the relationship between increased development and wildfire risk and their fire regulations. It includes maps of the WUI and Fire Hazard Severity Zones, case studies that focus on State level fire prevention efforts and mitigation tools, and opportunities for each state.
