We are looking for a team that has the experience and skill to help create feasible, working zoning regulations in alignment with our goals from New Haven's Vision 2034 Comprehensive Plan, create a strong enabling environment for equitable housing and economic development, and recommend strong policies to pair with the zoning that reduce and prevent displacement risk. New Haven's zoning regulations were last comprehensively updated in 1963, meaning we are both outdated and misaligned with the goals, needs, and possible futures for our city.
