The College of Natural Resources (CNR) is Hiring a Land Use Outreach Specialist!
This full-time, 12-month position develops and delivers outreach programs focused on comprehensive planning, land use, and community implementation tools. You'll work with local governments, elected officials, community partners, UW-Madison Extension, and the CLUE team to bring valuable resources and education to communities across Wisconsin.
Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting annual salary of $58,000-$65,000, commensurate with the candidate’s education, related experience, and qualifications.
What you'll do:
🏘️ Develop and deliver in-person and virtual outreach programs
🤝 Build partnerships with communities and local government organizations
📚 Create educational resources and materials
📊 Evaluate programs and help identify opportunities for improvement
💼 Support program administration and implementation
🌱 Help expand access to education and resources for Wisconsin communities
