JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performs transportation planning and project work, coordinates pedestrian and bicycle transportation programs, and provides general transportation planning oversight.
• Develops, implements, and facilitates projects and programs that promote integration of transportation and land use planning to expand multimodal options in the City that meet the needs of all people.
• Serves as liaison with other governmental officials and agencies to coordinate transportation planning efforts and determine, develop, and maintain funding sources.
• Participates in a variety of committees to ensure city goals are addressed; represents the City on boards and committees.
• Reviews projects and plans for consistency with City's Comprehensive Plan, Community Development Code.
• Presents to community and business groups and engages the community as part of transportation plans and projects.
• Assists with Long Range Planning community outreach events and other duties as assigned.
