INTRODUCTION: Human Resources will screen applications and supplemental questionnaires. The successful candidate may be required to pass a job-related physical evaluation.

NOTE: The hiring department may consider applicants at the Environmental Planner l level. If this job class is used to fill the position, the successful candidate will be hired on at the following salary: Environmental Planner I: $113,486.00.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), federal permitting requirements, and project management experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical writing and interagency coordination skills, with the ability to prepare complex environmental documentation and collaborate effectively with regulatory agencies and project team members. This position requires specialized expertise typically acquired through several years of progressively responsible experience in environmental planning.
