Solar Energy

The town's code encourages accessory solar energy systems and permits them in all districts. Preferred panel placement is on the back slopes of roofs. Regulations cover color and system height; there is no limit to the number of modules allowed. The code lists permit requirements, including sun and shadow diagrams. Commercial solar is prohibited as a principle use (Chap. 484).
