Solar Energy

This energy and sustainability plan includes a broad goal to invest in and promote renewable energy sources (including solar). Recommended actions include the following (p. 57):

• Adopting ordinances that incentivize, support, and protect private investments in solar energy systems
• Exploring the feasibility of constructing a solar farm on the county's landfill site
