This guide is designed to help cities and counties in east-central Georgia, adopt solar development regulations. It analyzes solar regulation in Georgia and provides two model ordinances for municipalities to promote solar development. These model ordinances address potential challenges, considerations, and incentives for municipalities with and without zoning to accommodate solar development.
