Short-Term Residential Rentals

It assesses the positive and negative potential impacts of short-term residential rentals in the city, reviews nationwide best practices, and offers regulatory recommendations for the city code, zoning ordinance, building code, short-term residential platforms, department of safety and permits, and other elements. The website that hosts the report also offers links to the public hearing presentation and public comments.

The city council commissioned a follow-up study in 2018 to evaluate the regulations passed as a result of the 2015 study.
