This functional plan updates Washington DC’s continued effort to become an age-friendly community. It is organized into three pillars: Built Environment, Changing Attitudes About Growing Older, and Lifelong Health & Security. Each pillar contains several policy domains, which lists the city’s vision, current conditions, and recommendations for the future.
