The city's zoning code permits one internal, attached, or detached accessory dwelling unit (ADU) by right in association with any single-family dwelling (§285-65). Use-specific standards address owner occupancy and maximum unit size. Detached ADUs must conform to additional dimensional standards (§285 Schedule B).
