The city's unified development code permits one internal, attached, or detached accessory dwelling unit (ADU) in association with any single-family dwelling (§6.3). Use-specific standards address purpose and findings, detached ADUs, relationship to detached garages, scale, building design, occupancy, parking, and utilities.
