Project Overview

In collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Planning and Community Health Center created a set of applied tools and factsheets to incorporate health into development review, comprehensive planning, green infrastructure and safe routes to parks.

Guidance for Health in the Development Review Process

The center examined best practices that directly or indirectly address community health improvement for new development and redevelopment. These guidelines will be useful for all players involved in the planning and development process as communities pursue their vision of becoming healthier, livable, and economically viable.
