Comprehensive Strategy to Improve and Streamline Housing and Community Development Practices

Cook Inlet Housing Authority

Anchorage, AK

In partnership with the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) and with funding support from The Kresge Foundation, Cook Inlet Housing Authority (CIHA) is seeking proposals to develop a Comprehensive Strategy to Improve and Streamline Housing and Community Development Practices.

We are seeking a Strategy to focus on: opportunities for streamlining and improving processes that have a direct impact on redevelopment and housing; new policies and organizational changes in the MOA that achieve greater efficiency; and recommendations on how to embed private sector specialists within the MOA.

The effort is intended to move the local government from primarily acting in a regulatory role to one that works to problem solve and collaborate with local stakeholders to achieve desired housing and development outcomes.
