Chatham County – Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) on behalf of the Coastal Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (CORE MPO) is requesting proposals to conduct the CORE MPO Regional Freight Transportation Plan Update for the Savannah Metropolitan Statistical Area which includes Chatham, Bryan, and Effingham Counties. The freight plan update will include Freight Needs Assessment and Analysis, Freight Land Use Assessment and Analysis, Economic Development Market Assessment for Freight, Environmental and Community Impact Scan and Analysis for Freight, and Freight Infrastructure and Land Use Improvement Recommendations. The final freight policy and infrastructure recommendations will feed into and support the development of the CORE MPO's 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP).

Qualified proposers are invited to submit sealed proposals, subject to conditions and instructions as specified in the Request for Proposals posted on the MPC website at https://www.thempc.org/Core/RFP2021.

All proposers must be prequalified by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). Proposals must be received by the MPC, located at 110 East State Street, Savannah, Georgia, 31401 on or before December 3, 2021, NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM (Eastern Time). Late submissions shall not be accepted.
