Yellowstone County been awarded a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in the amount of $50,000 by the Montana Department of Commerce (DOC) for completion of the West Billings Plan. Additional local funds are supplementing the project for a total project budget of $125,000.00.

The Board of County Commissioners is requesting proposals for professional planning services to assist the governing body in developing the West Billings Plan.

CDBG regulations governing the grant require that to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG assisted project will be extended to local lower-income residents. Further, to the greatest extent feasible, business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area will be utilized.
