A. Introduction; Statement of Purpose

Rebuilding Community Infrastructure ("Rebuild") is an initiative that is making significant investments in neighborhood parks, libraries, recreation centers, and playgrounds across Philadelphia with the goals of promoting equity and encouraging economic growth within the city. Rebuild works with public and private entities to improve and enhance the ability of parks, recreation centers and libraries to better serve their users. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified organizations with the capacity to support Rebuild's community engagement, outreach, and communications efforts.

B. Department Overview

Rebuild is investing hundreds of millions of dollars in the city's neighborhood parks, libraries, recreation centers, and playgrounds with the goal of promoting equity and encouraging economic growth within the City of Philadelphia. Rebuild works with public and private entities to improve and enhance the ability of parks, recreation centers and libraries to better serve their users. Rebuild is part of the Managing Director's Office of the City of Philadelphia and work in close partnership with various other City Departments to oversee the Rebuild initiative.
