The Village of Clemmons, North Carolina (herein referred to as the Village) invites consultants to submit proposals for this project. The project is to develop a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan to support the Village's Safety Action Plan, which is presently under development. This plan intends to remove physical barriers to accessibility in transportation systems and facilities for people with disabilities within the corporate limits of the Village. The Village will select a firm or team to provide the services outlined in the full RFP at https://www.clemmons.org/bids.aspx?bidID=26.
The Village has been awarded funds under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program to develop a comprehensive Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan in coordination with the Village staff to support the Village's Safety Action Plan for the Village of Clemmons.
This project shall be led by a steering committee comprising community members and Village staff. The committee will critically employ a robust and inclusive engagement strategy to engage various public and private stakeholders, particularly underserved populations.
Project costs will comply with 2 CFR 200.324 and the U.S. Department of Transportation Grant Agreement.
Proposals will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. (ET) on Monday, October 14, 2024.
Proposals can be mailed or hand-delivered to the Village of Clemmons, Village Hall.
