REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The City of Lufkin has received a grant from the Texas General Land Office under the Local Hazard Mitigation Plans Program (LHMPP) to prepare a Hazard Mitigation Plan. The City and Angelina County currently have a recently prepared combined Hazard Mitigation Plan but seeks to update this recent plan to include the other Angelina County cities of Burke, Diboll, Hudson, Huntington and Zavalla. Accordingly, the City is seeking to contract with a qualified Planner (individual/firm) to prepare this combined plan. Please submit your proposal of services and a statement of qualifications for the proposed services to the address below:

Proposals shall be received by the City no later than 2:00 pm on April 30, 2025 The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals.
