Curbside Management Plan

City of Watertown

Watertown, MA

The City of Watertown (MA) invites submittals from qualified consultants for a Curbside Management Plan for residential and commercial areas to supplement the adopted parking management plan (https://www.watertown-ma.gov/241/Parking).

The plan will evaluate the current use of curbside space across the city and recommend strategies for optimizing its use. In particular, the plan should evaluate the existing overnight parking ban that is enforced in winter months and determine if it should continue or – if not – what should replace it. The plan should determine if the city should implement a seasonal or year-round neighborhood parking permit program and/or parking management strategies in high demand areas. The scope will also include a detailed cost analysis for curbside use enforcement strategies.

The RFP will be bid electronically. Bid documents, forms, specifications and conditions, and bid guidelines will be available online from www.projectdog.com website starting at Noon on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
