The Village of La Grange ("Village") is seeking proposals from qualified firms for a comprehensive update of its Zoning Code (Title 1, Chapter 7 of the La Grange Municipal Code). The Village of La Grange Zoning Code ("Zoning Code") is in need of a substantial update to modernize the 1991 code, and to reflect the recommended changes per the 2024 Village of La Grange Comprehensive Plan, La Grange Forward.

Anticipated Scope of Work

The selected consultant team will be expected to complete tasks that seek to produce a zoning code that achieves, but is not limited to, the following objectives:

• Alignment with the Comprehensive Plan
• Modernize the Code
• Simplification
• Efficiency
• Accessibility

Project Budget

The Village has currently allocated $190,000 for this project.
