Request for Proposals: Hancock County Comprehensive Plan Update

The Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission is soliciting proposals from qualified planning and consulting firms to complete a full update of the Hancock County Comprehensive Plan. The selected consultant will work in coordination with the Hancock County Board of Supervisors to develop a clear, actionable vision for Hancock County through the year 2045.

The project will include a comprehensive review of existing plans, policies, ordinances, development regulations, infrastructure systems, and related documentation. The updated plan will address land use, housing, transportation, economic development, coastal resilience, public engagement, and implementation strategies to guide future growth and development across Hancock County.

This Request for Proposals is intended to identify a qualified consultant with demonstrated experience in comprehensive planning, public engagement, and long-range policy development.
