The City of Pocatello is seeking proposals from qualified firms to rewrite the City's Zoning Code (Title 17 of the City Code of Pocatello, ID), and amend references within related chapters as necessary.

The current zoning code was adopted in 2008 and has undergone subsequent amendments as necessary and on an as-needed basis.

In 2021, the City of Pocatello adopted its long-range plan, Comprehensive Plan 2040, to identify the City's priority goals as well as strategies to achieve those goals.

As such, the Zoning Code needs a substantial update to align with City's adopted long-range plan goals.
